UnGiftMe provides a free tool for creating holiday announcements and profile badges. This notice describes how the website works and information that may be processed when you visit.

Information you enter into the creator

Names, messages, and charity preferences entered into the announcement generator are processed in your browser to create a preview and downloadable image. The current generator does not transmit that content to an UnGiftMe application server, create user accounts, or store your announcements in an UnGiftMe database. You decide whether to save or share an image. If you share an image, the receiving app or service may process it under its own policies.

Technical information and hosting

The site is delivered by Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare and related infrastructure may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, requests, and security events to deliver, protect, and operate the site. Those activities are governed by Cloudflare's applicable policies. UnGiftMe uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand basic website traffic and performance, such as page views, visits, and loading performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage to identify or track visitors across websites. UnGiftMe does not use advertising analytics or behavioral advertising trackers.

External links and contributions

Choosing “Support UnGiftMe” takes you to Buy Me a Coffee, a separate service that handles contribution checkout and payment information. Information you provide there, including contact and payment details, is handled under that service's policies and those of its payment processors. UnGiftMe does not collect payment-card information through this website. Contributions support the website and are not donations to charities named in announcements.

Cookies and browser storage

The announcement generator does not intentionally set advertising cookies or use local storage to save your form entries. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage for analytics. Cloudflare may use essential security cookies or similar technologies in certain circumstances to protect and operate the website. External services you choose to visit may use their own cookies or similar technologies for operational, security, or payment purposes. Their own notices explain those practices.

Retention and your choices

UnGiftMe does not maintain a user account or a server-side history of generated announcements. Images you download or share are managed on your device or by services you choose. For requests concerning personal data held by Cloudflare or Buy Me a Coffee, consult their respective privacy information or contact channels.
